Camp Sites and Holiday Houses
Girlguiding Nottinghamshire runs two Camp Sites, both in rural settings. One, set in beautiful countryside to the south east of the county, is alongside the Magpie's Nest holiday house. The smaller site called Roughbreck, is in a woodland glade north west of Nottingham. Both sites offer some equipment and shelter.
We also have two equipped Holiday Houses: Hanson House in the middle of the county and Magpie's Nest to the south east. Both Houses have most things any holidaying unit will need, and both have large outside play areas.
With excellent facilities for young people and adults,our properties are suitable for training meetings and week-ends. They are sometimes available for hire by other organisations, and all can be booked by Girlguiding units from outside Nottinghamshire.
