NEW ROOMS AT H.Q.
Members of Pauline Clifford’s family and the Head Quarters Committee attended the opening of the new Archive Room on Saturday 13th September. The Pauline Clifford Archive Room was opened on Saturday September 13th by Marion Wynn (neé Clifford), Pauline's daughter who is currently Deputy Chief Commissioner for Midlands Region. Many of the Clifford family were there from different parts of the country. Marion is Archivist for Shropshire where she lives and was very envious of the beautiful room superbly organised by Nottinghamshire's Archivist, Sue Davis, a fitting memorial for Pauline who was County Registrations Secretary for many years and probably knew more about Guiding Personnel than anyone else.
The Resources Room has also had a re-fit. It is now available for use with a computer and photocopier installed along with a selection of books, folders with activities, games and quizes and information manuals. A list of items available for hire is also available. Please contact the office for access details.
