KEEP YOUR FINGER ON THE BUTTON
We would like to have a record of our Centenary activities throughout the year. Please try to remember to take your camera with you to record events.
There will be a (small) prize for the best photo taken at Countdown by a member of Girlguiding Nottinghamshire that will help promote Guiding locally. Remember close up shots of one person or small groups participating in an activity are often the most exciting.
Please choose a small number of photos from your unit’s collection and send it to guides.popplewell@btinternet.com or leave a copy at Guide HQ addressed to Alison Popplewell. Entries must be received by 30th September 2009. Also provide the name and contact details of the photographer, the name of your unit, the name of the subject’s unit if different. Please make sure that you have parental permission to use the photo for publicity purposes and, if agreed, supply the subject’s name.
By now you should have received your copy of 'Ways to Celebrate' in guiding magazine and will start to plan which event you would like to participate in. Please contact us to let us know what you will be doing to celebrate 2010 with your Unit, District and/or Division.
If you would like to become involved with any of these projects please Contact Us
